It was established by Ministerial Decree No. (238) of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Republic of Yemen, and its main headquarters is in Ibb Governorate. About the University: The University of Gezira is the first private university established by Ministerial Decree No. (238) of the Yemeni Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and its main headquarters is in Ibb Governorate. The university consistently strives to provide academic specializations and programs geared toward meeting the needs of the labor market and offering integrated services aimed at improving the quality of educational outcomes, represented by university graduates who are qualified in all academic, technical, and practical aspects. The University of Gezira administration has set a strategic goal derived from its mission, which aims to prepare qualified graduates, both male and female, to meet the labor market's needs with the expertise and specializations it offers. This provides an advantage for University of Gezira graduates and enhances their opportunities to compete for available job opportunities. Since its inception, the university has been keen to attract a distinguished elite of faculty members who possess university education skills and are academically qualified to match the aspirations of its administration to implement the vision it has set as a goal.
